Ash, Entourage sprint well
Ash and Entourage, both winners at the Canterbury Jockey Club's autumn meeting, sprinted satisfactorily in training at Riccarton yesterday.
Their 52 l-ssec was not the best of the morning for 800 metres on the trial grass, but they went about their work with a will, staying on terms throughout.
The two-year-old Classique. Glow showed that the track has; dried somewhat in the last few | days by reeling off 800 metres in 50sec. The Masterton trained j Classique Glow has placed form,: and at his present level of fitness might make an impression; at Riccarton tomorrow. Straga Fox had his race rider, W. Lucas, up when he sped over' 800 metres in 50 4-ssec. This effort was equalled later by his stablemate. Vexed, but she carried less weight.
