Stephens in Sydney squad

(N.Z. Press Assn —Copyright) SYDNEY.

The former All Black wing-threequarter, O. G. Stephens, gets the chance to play against his former countrymen when the All Blacks meet Sydney at the Sydney Sports Ground next Sunday.

Stephens, who toured England and Wales with the Australian team last year after playing for the All Blacks in New Zealand against France in 1968, was named yesterday in a 22man squad from which the Sydney team to play the All Blacks will be chosen. Stephens gains his place in the squad in spite of a slightly disappointing game for Sydney yesterday when the city side was beaten, 188, by New South Wales Country. McGill as full-back in favour of the young Sydney utility back, L. Monaghan.
