STEADY N.Z. MARKET IN MUCH QUIETER TRADING
Trading was much quieter on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. More of the leaders were among the rises than the falls and some good gains were shown, with National Insurance McKenzies, and J. White standing out. However, losses prevented an over all advance and the market indices were steady.
