Warrant for arrest
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Trevor Allan Eckhold, aged 25, a salesman, by Mr Justice Roper in the Supreme Court yesterday, after he failed to appear for trial on a joint charge of assaulting Mesaki Sotia with intent to injure.
Mr G. K. Panckhurst. for the Crown, said that there was evidence that Eckhold had left for Australia late last month. He had been bailed to appear on an earlier date but had also failed to appear on that occasion.
