! fN'.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) I SYDNEY, i j A leading Randwick trainer, F.j Allsop, died last night after a, long illness. Allsop, who was' in his early fifties, was one of racing’s most popular characters. Allsop began training in 1947 and held a No. 1 licence at the time of his death. He won big races with High I.aw (1952 Epsom'. Connaught (1954 Epsom), and Beaupa (1955 Metropolitan).
