The Mellay four-year-old is only a 20-1 chance in the Twickenham Flying Handicap (1100 m Her appearance has generated much interest in racing circles. She is now under the care of the Sydney trainer, T. J. Smith, and is expected to be finishing strongly in spite of not having raced for three months. Audaciter is second favourite behind Broadway Hit in the Rugby Centenary Stakes. Audaciter ran a commendable second to Crusader King at Rand-; wick on April 20 and seems to] be regaining his best form.
