Most courses will be conducted within the grounds of the Botanic Garden At present there are no position. in the country. bu> there may be in the future DUTIES— The appointees will be invoiced with course development. syllabus writing, and teaching of their horticulture specialism. This will incolt e -cguiar evening lectures. and attendance at field dais and seminars on some week-ends. Time off during the day will be given to compensate tor evening arid week-end work. The lecturer specialising in nursery practice will be concerned with the following aspects: plant identification, horticultural principles, and practice, nursery practice, and plant ptopagation, nursery design and management, and ornamental horticulture. The lecturer specialising in landscaping will be concerned with the following aspects: landscape surveying and levelling, illustration and graphic design, horticultural construction, theory of patk and recreational design, landscape design, and landscaping QI ALIFICATIONS— Applicants should possess a Degree or Diploma, or equivalent qualifications, in Horticultural Science or Ornamental Horticulture. It Is preferred that they have a minimum of five years experience in commercial practice and/ or additional education since graduation.
