Health study tour
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 26. The Minister of Health (Mr Tizard) leaves Wellington tomorrow for a six-week visit to study health services and administration in Italy, France, Britain, Denmark, and Canada. While overseas he will lead New Zealand’s delegation to the World Health Assembly in Geneva, and will represent the Cabinet at the ministerial council of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. He will return to Wellington on June 14. While he is away Mr Faulkner will be Acting Minister of State Services and Mr King will be Acting Minister of Health.
