i'.’V.Z Press Association! WELLINGTON, April 25. Electrical workers employed by electrical supply authorities will receive an 11.25 per cent increase in wages and all special payments, it was decided at a Conciliation Council hearing on Wednesday. The 11.25 per cent increase takes in the nine per cent general wage order to take effect from July 1. The 2.25 per cent agreed on is the maximum increase allowable in wages and conditions under the Government’s new pay and prices package announced last I week. Agreement was not reached on minimum payments for call-outs, and this matter will be referred to the Industrial < ommission. The agreement covers al! electrical workers employed by electrical supply authorities. except those in Canterbury. Marlborough and Nelson. It will take effect from 'July 1.
