PHOTO EXHIBITION
The “Press Photographer of the Year” exhibition is on display in the foyer of the Christchurch Town Hall this week.
It features 116 photographs, submitted by 29 photographers for the competition. sponsorfid by Qantas Airways and organised by the Auckland Newspaper Photographers’ Association.
The competition was won by Neville Marriner, chief photographer on “The Press.” It was judged by the airline’s senior photographer in Sydney (Mr W. C. Clark).
The exhibition (admission free) is open to the public between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. daily and on Thursday night.
