Norman Wilson, employed as an “expert”’ comment man, blithely referred to Australian coaches “such as Des O’Connor.” And Bill McCarthy told us only too clearly where “Sporting Life” originates when he told Andy Leslie that "all Wellington will be behind you.” I thought he was the New Zealand captain. —FRED
