N.Z. boat in top place

(N.Z. Press A ssociation I AUCKLAND The third win in as many races lias almost assured the New Zea land yacht. Travelodge of the world 18 foot championship. To take the title, all its skip per, T. McDell, has to do is finish in fifth place or belter in one of the two remaining races.

The superiority of Travelodge has been so pronounced that after three races only one 'adit, the champion New South \\ al< * 18 footer, KB. sailed by D Porter, is in a points position to beat the New Zealander. Even then Porter would have to win both races. And on present form it is unlikely KB can beat Travelodge once, let alone twice. KB finished second to Travelodge in the third race yesterday, with Captain Morgan (New Zealand) in third place and Anyhow (New South Wales) fourth.
