Leeds and Liverpool both have wins
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. Leeds United maintained its four-point lead from Liverpool in the English Football League championship when both won their matches yesterday. Liverpool beat Manchester City, 4-0, at home and Leeds beat Sheffield United, 2-0, away. Leeds now has 58 points from 40 matches, with only two more to play, and Liverpool has 54 points from 38 games. ENGLISH LEAGUE Division I— Birmingham City 2. Burnley 2; Leicester City 1, Stoke City 1; Liverpool 4, Manchester City 0; Sheffield United 0, Leeds United 2. (Norwich City will play Newcastle United today.)
