NEW LEAGUE FIXTURE
The Tavendale Cup Rugby i league fixture between Addington and Linwood, to have been played at the Show Grounds last evening, has been postponed until Saturday. Mr D. G. Gaynor, the secretary-manager of the Canterbury Rugby League, said yesterday that the game would be played at the Spreyd’on Domain at 2.30 ip.m. i The successful candidate I for the vacancy on the provincial board of control was Mr F. Duane, a former board member. He will replace Mr B. T. Barron, who resigned last, month,. The other nominees were Messrs A. iO’Donnell and L. French.
