The young Russian gymmast, Olga Korbut, who won | the hearts of thousands for [her performances at the [Munich Olympic Games, will [visit New Zealand in September. The press attache of the Russian Embassy in New Zealand (Mr Oleg Benyukh), [announced the visit on Saturday night at a function in Auckland to mark the 30th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between New Zealand and Russia. Mr Benyukh said that Miss Korbut would be in party which would include the world and several times Olympic gymnastic champion, Ludmila Tourisheva. He also suggested that a visit to Russia by the All Blacks would be a good way of further cementing friendship between the two countries. Rugby’s 40th anniversary in Russia was approachingl he added.
