But looking beyond that, Jorgensen’s ability to convey ample concrete, fur, paper, enamel, glass, and a variety of other surfaces, compares favourably with such painters as Brent Wong, Michael Smither and W. A. Sutton at points in their careers where they, too, subjected their surroundings to an intense and unremitting gaze. The exhibition will remain open until April 3. —G.T.M.
