WELLINGTON, March 10 Wellington-province freezing companies and the New Zealand Meatworkers’ Union will meet tomorrow to try and find a solution to a series of industrial disputes which has all but closed two freezing works and extensively disrupted work in two others I The general-manager of 1 the Gear Meat Company (Mr |L. A. Cameron) said on FnIday that the talks would centre on dispute procedures, cedures.
The disputes, which have struck the Petone. Longburn, Waingawa and Feilding works almost continuously Tor the last few weeks, have left a backlog of nearly 200,000 ewes waiting to be killed in the lower part of the North Island.
