N.Z. pair lose in doubles
New Zealanders were on the losing end of two tennis doubles matches played on Saturday. B. E. Fairlie and his partner, I. El Shafei (Egypt), were beaten by M. Holocek (Czechoslovakia) and J. Singh (India), 6-3, 11-9, 6-2, in the final of the Egyptian championships. A. Parun and R. Seegers (South Africa) went down to [the Spaniards, J. Muntanola [and A. Jiminez, in a semii final of a tournament in I Madrid.
