(N.Z. Press Association! DUNEDIN. A team from the University of Buenos Aires beat the University of Otago, 15-7, in a disappointing Rugby match at the university oval in Dunedin yesterday. Several fine runs were made by the Buenos Aires left wing, M. von Bernard, and the centre three-quarter. P. van Gelderen, two of which resulted in the two tries scored by the visitors. Had it not been for the tenacious defence of R. Smith, the Otago flanker, and B. Smith, the Otago full-back, Buenos Aires would almost certainly have scored more tries. For the University of Buenos Aires, tries were scored by van Gelderen and von Bernard; R. Casabal converted both tries and G. Alvarez kicked a dropped goal. For the University of Otago, D. Work (wing) scored a try, and B. Smith kicked a penalty.
