Shell kills children

Twenty-three schoolchild ren were killed and 40 wounded when a Communist mortar shell slammed into the playground of a primarx school in the Mekong Delta yesterday, the South Vietnamese Military Command
said today. It said that one woman school teacher and two othei adults were wounded in the mortar attack, in the town of Cai Lav. 45 miles south west of Saigon.
