Pupils organise seminar
One of New Zealand’s: first district seminars organieds by school pupils as part of the Educational Devel-i opment Conference will be held at Blenheim next Tuesday. Involving 350 sixth-form and seventh-form pupils from Marlborough Girls’ College, Marlborough Boys' College, and Queen Charlotte College, Picton, the seminar will discuss 15 compulsory topics set by the organising committee, chaired by Graeme Giles, a seventhform pupil at Marlborough) Boys’ College. No teacher will participate' in the seminar. All the enrolment, transport, and recording arrangements have) been made by the pupils. In common with the procedure to be followed by. other district seminars of) the Educational Development! Conference, recommend-) ations will be sent to the) Advisory Council for Educational Planning, Wellington. '
