GUITARIST DELAYED
The classical guitarist, Alirio Diaz, from Venezuela, was unable to get to Christchurch for a concert last evening. His flight from Melbourne was delayed because of mechanical trouble.
The concert will be given tomorrow night. The James Hay Theatre in the Town Hall was twothirds booked for the concert, said the promoter (Mr G. Nichols), who waited at the theatre last evening to advise people of the cancellation of the concert. Diaz will perform in Wellington this evening and Auckland on Thursday.
