MISSING CAR SOUGHT
The police at Papanui are looking for a car taken from McLeans Island during the week-end.
The car, a 1950 Vanguard painted grey, with a cycle earner on the back, was parked among trees after it broke down The owners locked it, and removed the battery.
It aonears someone i thought rhe car was ahan-' doned, like several other! vehicles at McLeans Island 1 and towed it away before the owner* went to retrieve it ye«*“rdav. Th* car’s number is AL 7388.
