Press Ann —Copyright) BUENOS AIRES Feb. 18. Between "0 and 100 persons are thought to have died in the worst floods of this century in the normallv-drv north-west of Argentina. The provinces of Santiago del Estero. Salta, and Jujuy were declared disaster areas bv the Government yesterday, nine davs of rain having left vast areas under water. In the can'tal of Santiago del Estero. "00 miles northwest of R’renoa Aires, more than 50.000 neoole were forced to abandon their homes. Aircraft laden with food, clothing, and medicine, have h»en nrevented from reaching the citv because the airport is flooded.
