The Primate of New iland (the Most Rev. A. H. Johnston) has been appointed chaplain and sub-prelate lof the Order of St John in [New Zealand, it was aninounced yesterday, by the 1 G ove r n o r-General (Sir .' Dennis Blundell) who is [ Prior of the order in New [Zealand. —CP. A.). [ Mr R. M. Burrows, New [Zealand Trade commissioner at New Delhi, has returned to New Zealand after a term of four years. He will spend a few weeks in Christchurch before resuming duty with the Department of Trade and Industry at Wellington. Captain E. J. R. Slatter will become the Army’s recruiting and information officer at 3rd Brigade Group Headquarters in April. Captain Slatter, the former ( adiutant of the Battalion Depot. Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment, at Bumham Military Camp, spent five years with the .Special Air Service.
