SPEEDBOAT CLASH
P. R. Knight (Christchurch) and K. McGregor (Auckland) will clash for the third time this season when they compete in the bridge-to-bridge speedboat classic on the Wanganui River tomorrow. Knight, the holder of various South Island and New Zealand titles, will be endeavouring to make it three out of three. Knight’s 500 h.p. hydroplane, Roadrunner, has beaten McGregor’s Air New Zealand twice. The two racers will again clash on the Estuary at New Brighton April 20-21 during the Masport Cup regatta.
