Athletes to run in Aust.
AUCKI AND. Miss S. Haden, the Commonwealth Games 800 metres silver medallist, will contest the Australian championships in Adelaide in a fortnight. She will clash with the Australian champion. Miss C. Rendina. the athlete who beat her for the Commonwealth title in Christchurch. Miss Haden has been entered for both the 800 m am. the 1500 m. She is the New Zealand champion in both. At on holiday it; Whitlanga. Miss Haden will return to Auckland tomorrow and may race in the Auckland championships tomorrow night over 400 m. Miss Haden leaves Auckland with ’New Zealand sprint champion, Mrs W. Brown next week, and the pair will race in Sydney on a new $250,000 Tartan rubberised (track on Saturday and Suni dav week
