Charge of assault
A young man has been charged with assaulting the 15-year-old girl in Breezes Road, Aranui, about midday on Tuesday. In the incident, the girl was stabbed in the thigh with a pocket knife after she refused to go behind a nearby church. The man was arrested by the C. 1.8. about 4 p.m. yesterday ard will appear in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. !
