The meeting will be held ! at Balclutha next Wednesday. [ A spokesman for the ■ group said that shareholders [ and suppliers at next Wed- [ nesday’s meeting would be [ asked if they want the ■ South Otago Freezing Com- , pany to become part of , Waitaki Industries or to re- [ main as it is. It was felt by , the group that the response , to these issues would estab- [ lish whether or not there . was a need for any further action by shareholders. Earlier, the general manager of South Otago (Mr J. , P. Bremner) said the recent statements by this anonymous group of shareholders may have had a 1 damaging effect. If the shareholders and suppliers were happy about becoming part of Waitaki' j Industries then that would ! be the end of the matter. If they did not want to become pan of Waitaki ln- ; dustries, and wanted to rejam the company as it was. [then further action would [have to be decided upon, Mrj ‘Bremner said. , !
