Restrictions on lighting
Restrictions on lighting in’ I Christchurch would be I strictly enforced, said the general manager of the Municipal Electricity Department (Mr J. P. Shelley) yesterday. Commenting on the first night of the restrictions, which came into force in ; Christchurch on Thursday night, Mr Shelley said there' were several cases where : business premises were “not up to scratch.” “We will make mattersi clearer to some people.
