$100,000 FIRE
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 8. Fire did more than $lOO,OOO worth of damage to a timber and joinery factory in Mount Roskill early today. Seventeen appliances called to the blaze took more than an hour to bring it under control. The fire destroyed a timber storage shed and the contents. including a timberdressing machine. The shed was part of the joinery factory of Smith and Brown, Ltd.
