Two masked gunmen (dropped through the skyi light of a bank branch at Standsted Airport, Essex, 30 miles north-east of London last night, and escaped with £35,000 in cash and travellers cheques. The two men. who spoke with Irish accents, chained up the three employees •of the National Westminster Bank after forcing them to open the vault and then fled ,by climbing back to the roof of the terminal .building. The police later set up road-blocks in the area, but Tailed to apprehend the men.
