Gun Power a Waikato pick

The consistent Gun Power is picked for the Ngapuhi Handicap, the second leg of the T.A.B. double at the Waikato Racing Club's meeting at Te Rapa today.

Gun Power finished a close second to the highly regarded Ross Hagen at Ellerslie at his last, start, and in a small field looks a bright prospect. The first leg of the double, the Te Arawa Handicap, has like the second leg been depleted by scratchings. The Wanganui Cup winner. Wool Away, remains in favour, with the top-weight, Skite.
