ITINERARY FOR ROYAL VISITORS TODAY
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh will attend the Games swimming finals at Queen Elizabeth II Park stadium today, where the Queen will present medals. They will leave by car from the H.M.Y. Britannia for the park at 2.30 p.m. via the railway overbridge, Norwich Quay, Christchurch - Lyttelton Road Tunnel, Tunnel Road, Dyers Road, Lin-
wood Avenue, Buckleys Road, Kerrs Road, Wainoni Road, New Brighton Road, Barkers Road and Travis Road, arriving at 2.55 p.m. The Prince of Wales, Princess Anne, and Captain Mark Phillips will arrive at the Commonwealth Games village at 12.30 p.m. to lunch with competitors. They will leave by car for Queen Elizabeth II Park at 1.45,
via Ham Road, Riccarton Road, Harper Avenue, Bealey Avenue, Whitmore Street, Avalon Street, Hills Road, Shirley Road, New Brighton Road, Bassett Street and Travis Road. They will attend the swimming finals. The Prince of Wales will later attend Commonwealth Games sessions or return to H.M.S. Jupiter. At 3.40 p.m. the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh,
Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips will leave by car for Mona Vale, where the Queen and the Duke will hold an afternoon party in the gardens for Commonwealth Games competitors and officials, at 4 p.m. They will leave for H.M.Y. Britannia at 5.15. At 9.30 there is a reception on board H.M.Y. Britannia.
