Doctor hunts for son
(N.Z. Press Association WELLINGTON. Jan. 29. Dr Roesmary Ongley, of Sydney, today searched unsuccessfully in Wellington ;for her two-year-old son, Dick. The boy, known as Dee, allegedly was abducted from a babysitter’s house near , Sydney on January 10. After receiving two anonymous telephone calls, Dr Ongley believes the child was brought to Wellington disguised as a girl and with his hair dyed black. Dr Ongley arrived in Well- ( ington yesterday to begin her Isearch. The Australian police have a warrant for the arrest of the boy’s father, Cecil MonI tague Ongley, a former Wellington general practitioner. I The police believe that the boy is with his father. “I know a few places here they could be hiding,” Dr i Ongley said today. “I’ve; checked some but so far I’ve found no trace of them.” Dr Ongley has taken a j week’s holiday from her medical practice in New South Wales to come to Wellington.
