Team’s bus rolls over
Five Australian shooters had a lucky escape from serious injury on Sunday when a small bus in which they were travelling skidded and rolled over. The accident happened on a gravel road between the shooting range and the Games village at Ham.
One of the shooters got a bruise on his forehead and another a bruised leg. The manager of the Australian team (Mr Tibor Gonczil) said: “We were not even going fast when the bus skidded on the gravel road and rolled over a small bank.”
