Fisherman missing

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Jan. 28. A man is missing, presumed drowned, after he disappeared while floundering near Seagrove Point, in the Manukau Harbour.

Chaggan Parstoot, believed to be aged about 50, married, of Pukekohe. was reported missing after midnight on Saturday after friends floundering with him saw his light disappear in deep water.

Derailment. — Two railway waggons were derailed on a section of the main trunk line near Merton, north of Dunedin, yesterday. The two waggons were part of the middle section of a goods train. No damage to goods was reported.—(P.A.)
