Sir, —Six 15 is fine if what is meant is quarter past six but if these Games are going
to help educate the public in metrics more accuracy is needed from announcers when giving figures after the point. Whether it be metres or seconds the correct terminology is surely six point one five.—Yours, etc., LORRAINE SUTHERLAND. January 28, 1974.
