Cleanliness of city

Sir, —I would like to congratulate the Mayor, the City Councillors, and all concerned on the facilities they have provided, and the cleanliness of your city. There is only one city in the world that 1 would say is cleaner, Salt Lake City, Utah. I would truly give Christchurch second place. 1 think your Games organisation was wonderful. There is only one complaint I have to make. Where were the hundreds of stalls selling tea, coffee or cocoa and sandwiches? I met three other people and we could not get any of those drinks or sandwiches. How many families can afford a smorgasbord lunch at the price?—Yours etc H. H. MOLLER. January 23, 1974.
