| (N.Z.P A.-Rcuter—Copyright) LONDON. ; The Manchester United i player, George Best, has (played his last serious game of soccer in Britain, according to the ‘‘Evening News” sports writer, Victor Railton. Railton quotes Best as saying: "At my peak, I en-| (joyed being that little bit: i special—who wouldn’t? 1 (cannot face being just an 'average first division player. l T had to think about my future and decided to quit. “Another comeback is completely out of the question. I have played my last serious game of soccer in this country.” Best retired from Manchester United several weeks ; ago when he was put on the “transfer list” for not training.
