WRITTEN TENDERS arc invited for the purchase of approximately 15.000 cubicfeet of P. radiata prepared sawlogs at Ashley Forest. The material is drying and some produce is partially sapstained.

Tenderers are to inspect the logs and satisfy themselves of the quality and by tendering acknowledge that the tenderer has examined [the produce to his satisfacition and waives all rights claims and defences that might or would have accrued to the Purchaser but for such examination.

Inspection should be made by arrangement with the Officer in Charge. Ashley Forest. The sale will be made on 'the standard N.Z. Forest Ser- ! vice Agreement F.S-D3 which I must be signed within 14 days of acceptance of tender and before produce is uplifted. The sale will be made in two lots of equal quantities and tenderers may offer for one or both lots. Time for removal is one month from date of acceptance of tender. Payment to be cash before removal. In framing their tenders applicants should have regard to existing controls on the price of sawn timber.
