N.Z. ROAD WALKER IN DOUBT
The New Zealand road walker. Kevin Taylor, aged 23, has a leg injury which may prevent him from taking part in the 20-mile race on Tuesday. Taylor. a commercial artist from Auckland, has his leg bandaged and is receiving daily treatment. The New Zealand manager, Mr W. Holley, said yesterday that the doctor believed the injury was responding to treatment.
“He is hopeful Taylor will compete,” Mr Holley added.
