Award for tyre

Britain’s major engineering award, the Macßobert Award, has been won by three staff members of Dunlop, Ltd, for the development of the total mobility "run flat” tyre and wheel, it has been reported from Britain. The award is made each year, and comprises a gold medal and $50,000 in prize money. The three winners are Messrs E. Mitchell. T. French, and R. Edwards. The winners received their shares of the prizemoney from the Duke of Edinburgh, who also presented the gold medal to Dunlop.
