AXEMEN AT PORT GALA
Leading New Zealand axemen will compete in two national championships at Lyttelton on Saturday and) Sunday in a combined meet-) ing put on by the Royal) George Axemen’s Club and the Lyttelton Lions Club.
The meeting will be on the Lyttelton Recreation Ground, and there will be a merry-go-round, Terris wheel, sideshows, train rides, dodgems, motor-cycle rides, chocolate! wheels, and other attractions.; The money raised will go! towards Lions Club projects! at Lyttelton, especially the; museum building fund.
