i A Christchurch accountant, (Mr S. Smith, has been ’selected by the International ’League of Red Cross Societies to administer a fourjnation relief team which will (begin work in Ethiopia next ;month. I Mr Smith, who has also led (Red Cross relief teams in (Bangladesh, is the director of I the Christchurch Red Cross (disaster team. He will co-ordinate the (famine relief efforts from (the Ethiopian city of Addis (Ababa of four groups from (Germany and three from ’Britain. Australia and New (Zealand. Mr Smith -will leave Christ’church on January 31.
