O.K. series to Dane
(V Z, Press Assn.—Copyright) ADELAIDE. Denmark has scooped the pool in the world O.K. Dinghy championship at Holdfast Bay, Adelaide. T. Andrup winning the series from J. Linharsten. On Saturday, the two Danes only had to sail consistently to win the series. In the final heat, Andrup finished twelfth, and Lindharsten fifteenth. They won the series convincingly from G. Woodroffe, of New Zealand, and K. Axerot, of Sweden. The final heat was sailed in flukey southerly winds, and was won by the Swede, L. Fagerverg, from two New Zealanders. R. Lamb, a junior, and Woodroffe. New Zealand had the best record as a team, with seven boats in the first 11 places. Last year’s champion. C. Roberts, of New Zealand, finished sixth.
