Car lands in paddock

A voung man was admitted to Christchurch Hospital in a moderately serious condition after his car failed to take a corner at Island and Tram Roads, Clarkville, about 1.30 a.m. on Sunday. He is James Aratangi, aged 23, of 30 Buffon Street. St Martins, who suffered head, chest and arm injuries. The car rolled over, landing on its wheels in a paddock. Wigrain Road crash Mary Holland, aged 18, of 100 Bealey Avenue, suffered head and chest injuries in a three-car collision in Wigram Road about 5.50 p.m. yesterday. Her condition in Princess Margaret Hospital last evening was satisfactory.
