(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, January 20. Britain’s retail prices rose faster in 1973 than in any other year in recent history, according to official figures.' The 1973 increase of 10.6 pence in the pound sterling was greater than in any year since records started in 1962. Since November, 1972, when price controls began, food prices have risen by 20.8 per cent. The increase since the General Election of June 18, 1970, has been 48.7 per cent.
