Roadside bach must go
Mr Brook Taylor, of Christchurch, will be asked to remove a bach between the beach and the Chorlton Road at Little Akaloa The county engineer (Mr K. A. Pavlin) told a meeting of the Akaroa County Council that the bach had “squatted ’ on the road reserve for 50 years or so. Spoil had fallen from the road on to the bach, and this would be costly to clear away. Residents" wanted to locate a flat space for sunbathing, and the bach site was ideal,
