C.I.A. probe by Thais
•I r.v.z. Preu Aon.- Copyright) } BANGKOK, Jan. 16. , The Thai Prime Minister (Mr Thammasakl has ordered. [Government authorities work[ing with the United States} 'Central Intelligence Agency }(C.I.A.) to submit reports on, C.I.A. activities in Thailand. The Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence, the Director of National Security, and the National I dice Chief have been working with C.I.A. agents in the past year. The Prime Minister last week j ordered officials from these four offices to submit their I reports and recommendations. A spokesman for the 1 Foreign Ministry said the Foreign Minister submitted his report and recommendation to the Prime Minister yesterday. Others were expected to submit theirs by today. The Prime Minister’s order came after a series of student and public protests against C.I.A. activities in Thailand. A fake letter from a C.I.A. agent to the Prime Minister sparked the protests earlier 'this month. Thai students in Paris' have sent a letter to the Prime Minister condemning C.I.A. activities in Thailand. [The letter, received here' ,| last night, demanded the reIcall of the United States AmIbassador (Mr William ■Kintner).
